While traveling around New Zealand by campervan (arguably the best way to see the country), we stayed at quite a few campsites.

Something caught my attention. About half of them had the exact same type of trampoline.

Not the small garden version.A big, in-ground trampoline that sits flush with the grass.

It's called Jumping Pillows.

The trampoline became the social hub of the entire campsite. Kids bouncing. Parents chatting nearby. Instant community.

Most campsites placed the trampoline right next to the reception or vending machines.

Basically a kids club… that runs itself.
